SOLVED Windows 10 and emails on websites

Windows 10 won't open email addresses shown on websites. I am using Microsoft Outlook.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Go here
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations
In the "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program" scroll way down almost near the bottom to the
MAILTO item
Select that and click the "Change program button"
Select or Browse to "Outlook" in your programs folder.
Depending on your version typically
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OUTLOOK.EXE
However yours could be in a slightly different path, again depending on the version installed.

The solution above worked perfectly. The steps for me were slightly different:-
Control Panel, Program, Default program, Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program, Change program, Scroll down to MAILTO, Select Outlook (desktop). Thank you ever so much - good job.
